Anna has been a valuable asset to Georgia’s team since 2018. She routinely comes to monitor and maintain the horses and has been instrumental in keeping them performing at their best – Georgia can always feel a huge difference in the horses after she has visited. Anna also treats Georgia and has greatly improved her straightness in the saddle.

I have used `AJ&A’ for the last 7 years following treatment from Anna Johnson to myself when I had been injured in a road traffic accident. I became aware of the benefits of Physiotherapy and found the knowledge and skill of Anna Johnson and her team invaluable in maintaining myself and my staff in working order to run the yard, as well as keeping the horses supple and happy to compete.

I first used `AJ&A’ in 1997 when my pony club horse `Major Blue’ had a back problem. Having found physiotherapy improved his performance immensely, I have continued to use`AJ&A’ throughout my riding career for both the horses and myself. She regularly checks all the horses and treats as appropiate, which usually relieves small performance problems and niggles. She has always assisted me at major three day events such as Badminton and Burghley. Anna and her professional team have always communicated and worked well with the rest of my support staff such as vet, farrier, grooms and owners and I consider her invaluable to support me to ride at top level.

I was recommended to use Anna Johnson by my vet, Thorsten Feddern, in 1997. having felt the benefits of her work, she has since become a valuable asset to my back up team, treating the horses and myself. We routinely have a member of ‘Anna Johnson and Associates’ to monitor and maintain the horses in peak condition to jump at top level. Anna and her professional team are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with.

TIM STOCKDALE – International Show Jumper

I have grown up with Anna, or her team, coming to do my dad’s horses, so have known her all of my life. She has now started treating my horses regularly as well as myself for any niggling injuries.

Like my dad, I can feel the benefit of her work. I often consult Anna about how the horses are going and seek her advice in exercises and rehabilitation, to help me train my horses to be at their peak for competitions.

We have used Anna Johnson (& Associates) for 8 years and probably 8 horses later.
We were recommended by our saddler and referred initially by our vet to use Anna for a young horse with unusual comformation.
Anna has always run a professional and efficient business. Her knowledge in this specialized area is second to none.
On a personal front Anna is very easy to talk things through with and even when our girls were much younger she always involved them in her assessment.

We have used AJ&A following recommendation by our vet Simon Knapp, for the last 8 years. We find the professional manner and knowledge of all the Physiotherapists extremely helpful, treating both the riding club level horses and more advanced level dressage horses.

SASHA HAMILTON – Livery Yard Proprietor (Dressage rider)

I first contacted Anna in 2004 after buying a dressage horse from Germany. He was showing signs of discomfort when asked to work in an outline even though he was working at an advanced level at the age of 8. Anna came to see me and immediately recognised that the horse was in severe pain in his back. She treated him, recommended some time off work followed by lungeing in a long and low outline and also suggested the use of a TENS machine. At the time I was distraught but followed Anna’s advice and over some months the horse improved. This horse is now working at Grand Prix and competing Inter II. His back is now so supple and flexible, he is a pleasure to ride.

Anna now treats all my dressage horses regularly. She can quickly recognise any soreness or stiffness before it causes a problem. We have continued the use of the TENS machine which is invaluable and also I have invested in an electromagnetic rug. Both of these are used daily on the horses. These combined with Anna’s regular assessments and treatment of the horses keeps them in tip-top condition for their work and competition.
